Playing the Shaman:
The Shaman is a well-known part of Transformice the game, thus an important role on TFMRP. Here is a simple guide and some tips for playing your mouse as a Shaman, what to do, what not to do, and what you are entitled to. Go ahead and note that playing your mouse as a Shaman is not a right, but a priviledge.
By default, the thread creator is the first one to play Shaman, unless specified otherwise. If you want a thread with no shaman, post it in an Out of Character section. Roleplaying a shaman is a responsibility and privilege, as you are permitted to do some godmoding, unrealism, and are in control of the thread. Please keep that in mind, and play fair. Once your turn is up, give the shaman right to someone else.
Each shaman gets one color for their feather and markings. Totems can only be used in Hardmode, which can be purchased from the shop. Meep, or forcing nearby mice away from you, cannot be used unless purchased. And if so, it may not kill all mice, if any. Also, on Transformice RPG, there is no need to 'ghost' objects.
What to do in what thread:
Normal/Cheese gathering:
There is one shaman, who helps the mice get the cheese and get back to the hole. This is simple, and you have access to almost all of the shaman items and abilities. You are welcome to help your disciples... or troll them! It is up to you for what you roleplay your mouse to do.
Survivor:
If you are the shaman in survivor, you must have won the previous round. The only items you will get are cannons, arrows, spirit(unless in hardmode, in which you get your totem), planks, and balloons.
Other:
If you are in any other type of thread, go ahead and assume/behave as if your shaman is in a normal cheese-gathering thread.
Shaman Items:
Arrows
Red, yellow, and blue nails.
(In case you have never played Transformice, red nails keep something in firmly place, yellow nails connect, and blue nails allow the object to move.)
Large planks and small planks.
Cannons
Balloons
Spirit (a magical 'boost' for mice)
Ice (freeze/kill mice if they are causing you problems or just if you feel like it. they WILL unfreeze later though. you have two freezes, and you may powerplay this.)
Trampoline
Respawn (once you finish your turn and give the shaman right to another mouse, mice automatically respawn. you may respawn ONE lucky mouse during your turn though.)
Give Cheese to ONE lucky Mouse.
Anvils
*Wings
*Hardmode/Totem
* Means the object must be purchased
(If you have anymore ideas, or if I forgot some, please PM me/Yuki!)
Abusing the Shaman Right:
If you are caught powerplaying, cheating, or abusing the Shaman Right in any way, the option to play as it will be withheld for a certain period of time, and a note will be placed on your account to alert staff about it. Play fair, please. Meta-gaming, god-moding, powerplaying, etc, are not permitted unless something in this guide states otherwise.
Disciples:
Anyone who is not a Shaman at the time is a shaman disciple, or follower of the Shaman. The Shaman cannot dictate what you say or do. They are simply there to help your mouse get the cheese, or to shoot cannons in Survivor. In fact, you can even troll your Shaman by simply acting stubborn, but may get frozen in the process for up to two posts. See someone abusing their Shaman Rights? Please report them/PM a staffer. Note that trolling In Character is fine, or just having their mouse behave like a n00b, but breaking the actual site rules is not.
